About the Art Park
Art Park is New
Yes it is, and two grown men have taken on the job of running it. Paul McNeil and Craig Rochfort love art and opened the park gates to all their clever friends. Soon after, talented filmmakers, artists and writers started pouring in, attracted by the flowers, trees and grass. These people went on to shape the Art Park, and eventually they all ended up living there. Inspired by the surroundings, art was made, films were played and words were sayed. Enjoy.
Art Park clothing
We are starting out with our favourite item of clothing, the Classic T shirt! and what better way to show off some art. 100% cotton (some bamboo in the ladies shirts!) and styled to be your new favourite fit. Printed with the art of all our friends and some by us too. Stay tuned for more art garments from the Art Park soon!
Art Park Online Shop
Not having our own "actual shop" has not stopped us actually setting up a shop! theartpark.com.au is 'the' location for all discerning buyers to get all they need in life! (excluding food and water) Not only do we sell our own precious products, we stock all the great work of our friends. Books, zines, clothes, posters, art and all the things we like, plus more!
Art Park Publishing
As Teeluxe, we previously published artists zines and small boutique reading matter. Art Park books will take it to a whole new level and do all this, plus we will publish several art books per year. First off the press will be a 120 page, hard cover book showcasing the genius of Reg Mombassa's sketchbooks. We are very excited that Reg has opened his private world and allowed us to (hopefully) produce an ongoing series of fine and messy books by him. Art park books also has many new and exciting art inspired books and zines on the boil and hope to release them from now to eternity.
Art Park/Atlantic Artist Residency Program
Artists take note!
Art Park in conjunction with our accommodation partner, Atlantic Guest House Byron Bay are pleased to be offering two fantastic artist residencies (per year) in our own town of Byron Bay! The artist selected (international or local) will receive travel, accommodation and financial assistance for the period of 6 weeks! Yes, this is actually true!
